Maestro Zander: My husband and I very much enjoyed the concert you conducted in St. Louis last month. Your warmth, and love for the music and the musicians was evident in your heartfelt commentary. We have supported the musicians throughout the strike and the way you conducted the amazing group of musicians gathered that evening was a touching and welcome ending to a worrisome time for the arts in St. Louis. My son is a young cellist who studies with Catherine Lehr. Listening to the music that night brought me to tears and made me so thankful that my son will have music in his life whatever he chooses to do in the future.
