Correspondence

Hello,
I wanted to thank you for the experience you gave me at the the Sutter Health Symposium. I imagine you inspire countless amounts of people, but the timing of this was amazing. Ever since I won a couple of prestigious awards, I have lost confidence in my playing and have had a terrible time enjoying life because it was a direct reflection of my cello playing. I dealt with a deep seeded depression that was imposed by me and my view of myself. The time that I spent with you along with a recent marriage to a wonderful woman and a welcoming environment at the conservatory, has reminded me to love life, live life, and allowed me to be, me.
Thank you very much, and I hope that in the future, I will have the chance to work with you again. You are an inspiration.
