Best self-help book I've ever read, September 24, 2005
Reviewer: Linda F. Smith
I've read many books in the self-help/psychology genre. This has the most practical advice that I've ever read. It shows how a shift in looking at the context of the events in our lives, can open up possibilities for transforming ourselves and all the communities in which we have relationships. The credits in the book reference Landmark Education. Having participated in that education, I am happy to have a book which I can refer to as life unfolds in its various ways.
Everyone is able to enter the universe of Possibility, September 22, 2005
Reviewer: Anton Kommar "akommar" (Russia/Israel)
This is not another book simply suggesting calling a glass of water half-full instead of half-empty. Instead, it suggests a different view at the reality stating that we are living within our own limited frameworks carefully built since our childhood and basing on grades given by others or - later - by ourselves.
As the conductor of the Orchestra, Benjamin Zander had a chance to free Musicians of appraisals bondages and prove the fact that when a human being does not see fake limits imposed by the education, society, by himself or herself, he or she can make miracles, achieving wonderful results and succeeding to pass transcendentally his or her true feelings to other people. The authors propose to make one's life full of possibilities and give practical techniques on how to make it possible.
The book is written so that the impression of a long waving line of narration without gaps or inconsistencies accompanies the reader. It is comprehensive and the life stories given on its pages are humane and dispose to deep thoughts.
*** Whom this book could be interesting to? ***
I suppose everyone who has a feeling of a connection to his or her destiny, success and the future, everyone who is ready to consider an alternative point of view at how the world reacts toward us in response to our behavior, will find this book interesting.
In addition, young parents may find this book helpful. After all, it is so exciting to help your child develop everyday and every minute and it looks like this book gives the right direction to move to in terms of developing one's talents and abilities.

I am very impressed with this book...its messages are simple with great examples that are practical and down to earth. This is definitely not a self help book but more a lessons learned about being more human and effective in any pursuit.
I love it and recommend it to my clients.
